4 Days in Paradise!

Paradise Point Resort and Spa - San Diego

Summer 2011

For the past few summers... Grandma and Grandpa have taken us to San Diego... to spend a few days in "Paradise" before we say "good-bye" to summer! And this year... kept with tradition! However, I must say... this summer... topped them all... we were all spoiled in a big way! As we made reservations at the beginning of summer... Paradise Point was booked... and so we squeezed in a two night reservation the last week of July. Because Daddy was put on a Monday through Friday schedule... it didn't look like he would be able to join us... so, we were all kind of bummed. But, at the last minute he decided to take a "sick day". We were all very excited and couldn't wait to head out! We have always kept it "low key"... extremely relaxing... pool, pool, and more pool! We pack our ice chests so that we can eat most meals in the room... and spend as much time in the water as possible! Of course, we always make a few trips to Anthony's Fish Grotto... M'mmm!

After changing rooms once (Papa always makes sure his "Grand-Kiddos" have the very best location) ... we were ready for the pool!

Daddy joined us Wednesday evening after work... so, we definitely had to have some more pool time after he arrived!

So while we were swimming... Grandma and Grandpa headed to the office to see if we could switch rooms!

Enjoying the pool... as we waited for the manager to find us a new room...

...and that he did! Of course, with a little persuasion from Grandpa... we found ourselves in a bay front - two bedroom suite... and an extra night for free! Uhmmm... can we say THANK YOU GRANDPA and GRANDMA! Oh, we were all so excited!

Our new patio... bee free! Daddy is cooking lunch... while we enjoy the beach!

And after lunch... we resume our regular schedule... afternoon at the pool!

Breakfast with a view! Unfortunately, Daddy had to return to work this morning... but, he will be back tonight for "s'more fun"... (hint)

What a perfect four days! Totally relaxing... so much fun... and so many special memories! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for an awesome time! We love you with all of our hearts!
