~ Christmas Dinner ~

This year... we hosted Christmas Dinner!

On the menu:
Turkey (Daddy's favorite)
Mashed Potatoes
Cranberry Stuffing
Gravy
Green Bean Casserole
Rolls
Grandma Switzer's Red Cinnamon Jello
My Mom's Delicious Deviled Egg
My Mom's Cream Corn
Relish Tray
and... for Dessert:
My Mom's Peppermint Mud Pie
All with a toast to a very Merry Christmas with Apple-Cranberry Cider

It was M'mmm...M'mmm good! And we look forward to the left-overs!

Lorielle and Logan played while we were busy in the kitchen.

Unfortunately... this is the only picture we have of our Christmas Dinner... we were too busy... Oh well, next year for sure!

And now... Round 3 of present opening... yikes!

Clothes, Hats, Games (Uno, Scrabble, Go Fish, Ants In Your Pants), color books, crayons, Bath & Body (Mommy's favorite)...

And... then... we all played games!
Christmas 2010 has left us with such tender...wonderful... priceless memories! And for that I am truly blessed! Special memories made with my husband... my children... my parents... will forever be carried in my heart!
The Christmas Season did not go by though without missing those that are not here with us. Lori... Grandma and Grandpa Switzer... Grandpa Checkwood! We love you and miss you... and forever treasure the days we spent with you!
And of course... we very much missed Grandma Checkwood this year. But, she is settling in quite happily in Georiga... and that makes us happy! She was surrounded by so much family... Uncle Larry, Aunt Trina... all of their children... their children... and yes... their children! One day it is our hope that we can have one big Christmas just like it was when I was younger!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
