Each month Santa Rosa Academy holds an assembly... formal dress is required. Today... the 2nd grade class participated by singing Lee Greenwood's "Proud to be an American". They have been practicing this song since January... singing it every morning after the Pledge of Allegiance. This was the perfect week to share their American spirit... as we learned of Osama Bin Laden's death! They did a great job... and of course, Mommy teared up as she watched her lil' sweet pea sing her heart out!
