Pumpkin Fun!

On Saturday, the four of us visited Bates Nut Farm for a little "pumpkin fun" and Fall festivities ... And yes, we had FUN... and lots of it! Our visit this year was much different than last year... as last year, Logan was itsy bitsy... sat in his stroller... or the wheelbarrow... our calm little boy... However, this year... we couldn't keep up with our lil' man! He was everywhere... and we all had quite a work out by the end of the day.


Our day started with pictures before we left home... and as you can see... our little guy wasn't about to stand still for the camera...

And... even with Mommy holding him... he was still trying to escape!


Mommy and Lorielle all smiles... and Logan... well, notice his feet off the ground again... (Maybe we should have taken this as a hint for what was to come!).


Our first stop... the "petting zoo" ...

"What's that?" ... His favorite saying these days... he wants to know what EVERYTHING is!

I didn't think Logan would be impressed with the petting zoo... but, he really liked it!



Lorielle on the other hand was not very impressed with the smell...


"Okay, I will pet you... you don't smell too bad!"


"Hmmm... what are you eating Mr. Goat?" ... Our inquisitive little man... I think this picture is sooo funny! If we let him, Logan would probably crawl into the bowl... which very much resembled a toilet bowl! Yuck!!!

"Uhm Daddy, I think we can skip this and go visit the pumpkin patch!"

Our "Super Cute" little girl... and oh so serious! Lorielle wasn't all that convinced she need to ride the ponies either... but, decided if brother could do it, she would, too!

Finally... Pumpkin time!

The only way we could "corral" Logan was to put him in the middle of the pumpkin pile... well, at least for a minute or two...

"Maybe if we roll it we can get it to the car..."

Our busy boy... forget smiling for the camera... he is checking out the corn! And Lorielle... well, she has picked her pumpkin... and is ready for some cotton candy!

"Not very tasty!" ... Logan had just tried taking a bite out of his "bite size" pumpkin!

We finished our busy day with a few "fall" lights for our tree!
