Wow... 16 months!

Yes, Logan is 16 months... Bye-Bye Baby... and Hello Little Man! Isn't he a cutie? I can already see the future... you know... 30 or so years from now... girls lined up on one side of our front door... boys lined up on the other! Daddy better start lifting weights... and wearing his uniform home! Logan is growing so big... growing up so fast! So... yes, I am still amazed at how different little boys are... Logan surprises me each and every day with something new, something exciting, something just short of trouble! He can climb into the bathtub... and a few nights ago, he thought it might be fun to pull the lever on the spout and watch Mommy get wet from the shower head while he was taking a bath... ugh! He is fascinated by the toilet... and yes, I will admit... just once (so far) he put his hands in the water... he loves to open and close the dishwasher... my Corning Ware cupboard... UGH-WATCH OUT! He thought the bookshelf was for climbing... and he is very intrigued with how the vacuum works. This morning, I thought he just might be a fireman when he grows up... he worked at the vacuum cord for at least 10 mins... fixing it just right on the carpet - nice and straight - around our bed - just like a fireman with their hose. He likes to try and take things apart... and anything that has wheels is his all time fav! He has to make sure every door he passes is closed (just like Daddy!)... and tries to lock/unlock the doors. His ride-on toys often become skateboards... or he pushes them at 60 mph. through the house. Mommy's poor furniture! He still absolutely adores his sister... and he is such a show-off around her. This morning as they ate breakfast together... they played "monkey see - monkey do!" He copies everything she does! Too cute (well, most of the time)! He is learning new words all the time... but, his favorite right now is "Help!" ... I assume he picked that up from sister... but, he uses it every time he gets into a bind. He weighs just a little less than 25 lbs. But, isn't the best of eaters right now... he is on a very bland diet (his choice)... and is not interested in meat, chicken, or anything like that. Oh yes... one more milestone... Day 3 without binky! Mommy noticed his teeth looking a little funny, but didn't say anything... when Papa commented on the very same thing... that was all it took! I love you to pieces Mr. Man... you are my lil' hero!
