8 Months!

Yes, Our lil' guy is now 8 months old! Wow... 8 MONTHS OLD! For me, it is hard to believe... where did time go? It seems as if it was just yesterday that I held my lil' man in my arms for the first time... but, then again... I can't imagine our lives without him! He has completed our family... and boy, do we ever feel so blessed! Thank You Lord for our two children!

We have definitely seen the most development in this last month! Logan is clapping his hands, waving bye-bye, gives "high-5" (Papa taught him this!), playing "peek-a-boo" and "how big is the baby", shaking his head no, saying Da-Da and Ma-Ma, giving kisses, making funny faces (which you will see below!), starting to pull himself up, rolling everywhere, definitely being more vocal (competing with sister!), and showing his stubborn side (which of course, ALL comes from Daddy!). He can be SO DETERMINED! He has 3 teeth... and you wouldn't dare put your finger in his mouth. OUCH! He isn't crawling yet... still gets up on his hands and knees and rocks, but then decides rolling is much easier. He has no interest whatsoever in using a sippy cup and when it comes to holding his bottle... well, he doesn't like that idea either! He LOVES food and will eat ANYTHING we give him. He is so funny in the morning... you can't get his cereal in fast enough and boy, does he let you know it! Logan has learned what fun it is to take off his shoes and socks in the car and watch them drop in the seat next to him! He and Lorielle had their first "disagreement" over a blanket. Logan was snuggled in his carseat with his blanket and sister decided she would like him to share - and when I say "share" I mean GIVE UP ALL OF HIS BLANKET! He didn't like that at all and reached for it back... and of course, as you guessed... Lorielle took it back. Although we couldn't understand exactly what he was telling her... he let her know he wasn't a happy camper! Logan is now also sleeping in his own room. He made the transition just fine... it was Mommy that had a few sleepless nights without him in our room. He is a very happy little guy and always has a great big smile for just about anyone.
