Day 3 of 2nd Grade!



New this year... uniform shorts!




Day 4 of 2nd Grade...

...and this year SRA has also added a "dress uniform" which is to be worn at least twice per month - Assembly Fridays and other special occasions!

Girls are to wear white button down uniform blouse... and plaid skirt... Boys are to wear navy pants, white shirt, and tie!

They all looked quite "studious" this morning! I must admit, I like it!

2nd Grade Discipline Clip Chart

"Totally Awesome" - (pink) - A student must do something above and beyond or "totally awesome" to get their clip moved up.

"Smooth Sailing" - (white) - Every student starts here at the beginning of the day. If a student stayed on white, they were on task and did exactly what was asked.

"Testing The Waters" - (blue) - This is just a warning, there is no consequence.

"Treading On Thin Ice" - (yellow) - If your child comes home with a yellow, this means a problem occurred for the second time that day. The student will lose 10 minutes of recess and a note will be sent home in the learning log.

"Playing With Fire" - (orange) - This would be the third time that a problem occurred during the day. Student will lose entire recess and a note will be sent home.

"Flirting With Disaster" - (red) - This would be the fourth time that a problem occurred during the day. Student will be sent to the office and receive a behavioral referral.

This week Miss Lorielle moved to pink 3 times... and stayed on white 1 time! Way to go Lorielle! We are very proud of you!

(Shhhh... we won't tell anyone that you forgot your composition notebook and we had to take you back to school to get it!)
